Booksellers on the Internet

AddAll Book Search
AddAll is a book shopping and price comparison engine that searches for in-print books and compares their price and availability from over 40 different online booksellers. Their Used Books section does the same for used and out of print books, and searches databases such as ABE and BookFinder.com; we still have to search eBay Books ourselves!

Advanced Book Exchange
This internet service of online booksellers and buyers for out-of-print, used, rare and antiquarian books allows you to search by author, title, publisher and keyword. You may also keep a list of books you're looking for, and they will e-mail you when one becomes available.

Alibris Out-of-Print & Rare Books
Alibris is one of the oldest and best-known vendor networks for used books.

Amazon.com Books
Every book in print is available from Amazon.com.

Bent Cover Book Search
Free to the buyer book searches of an inventory of more than 1/2 million used books, as well as nationwide searches.

Bibliocity
Searching rare & collectible books from leading international antiquarian booksellers. You may keep a want list at this site.

Bibliofind
An internet book search service listing over seven million out-of-print books from over 3000 booksellers.

BookFinder.com
A book shopping search engine that scans bookseller databases to find new, used, rare, and out of print books. BookFinder will search the ABE, Alibris, Amazon.com, Bibliocity, Powell’s Books, and more, with one search. This is always my first stop when looking for an out-of-print book.

BookWire Index
An extensive listing of antiquarian booksellers on the web, if one of the other sites comes up empty on a must-have out-of-print book search.

Ebay Auctions: Books
The largest auction site on the internet, with, consequently, the largest selection of used and out of print books.

Gutenberg Holdings
A classy used, rare, and out of print internet bookstore with over 100,000 books in stock, all in nice condition. They specialize in history, literature, classics, and other worthwhile reads, for the most part, at excellent prices.

Leola’s Good Books
Specializing in children’s literature and quality “living books” for homeschoolers at very reasonable prices.
