Christianity and Biblical Studies
This page contains links to my favorite Christian theology, Christian and Biblical worldview, Christian history, Biblical studies, and Christian living sites on the internet. Although some sites that are exemplary and well-known, such as Answers in Genesis, appear here, I have also tried to include some sites that are more unique and not found on a zillion other Christian websites.
711.net: Christian Information Assistance
Filtered Internet access, comprehensive and impressive Christian directory and Internet search, todays news with Biblical commentary, Christian chat, forums, e-mail, more ...
Best of the Christian Web
Classical Christian Homeschooling is listed, along with other high-quality websites.
Crosswalk.com
Our aim is to offer the freshest and most compelling biblically-based content to Christians who take seriously their relationship with Christ. Crosswalk.com is built around four primary content areas Faith, Family, Fun and Community. Each category is further subdivided into areas of significance to many Christians, including Bible Study, Devotionals, Marriage, Parenting, Music, etc. Within this framework, we work hard to provide timely, relevant, life-enhancing material from qualified, respected Christian sources, including major ministries such as Focus on the Family, Family Life Today, The Bible Answerman and Insight For Living. The Home School section is especially helpful.
Gospelcom.net
Links to over 300 sound Christian ministries who together work to use technology and the Internet to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in a myriad of creative ways. Gospelcom.net also produces Internet for Christians, a helpful online journal which provides timely information about the Internet to Christians.
Apologetics Index
Very helpful site which provides research resources on religious cults, sects, new religious movements, alternative religions, apologetics-, anticult-, and countercult organizations, doctrines, religious practices and world views. These resources reflect a variety of theological and/or sociological perspectives. The site provides information that helps equip Christians to logically present and defend the Christian faith, and that aids non-Christians in their comparison of various religious claims. Issues addressed range from spiritual and cultic abuse to contemporary theological and/or sociological concerns. AI also includes ex-cult support resources, up-to-date religion news, articles on Christian life and ministry, and a variety of other features. This is the place to find out about Wahhabist Islam, Freemasonry, Yoga, and even research the controversy surrounding Gwen Shamblin and the Weigh Down Workshop. What about the Word/Faith movement? What is Heresy? You will find it all here.
Apologetics.com
Lots of helpful articles here, although the few by Hugh Ross prompts me to add a warning to use care. Any theory of origins, such as that promoted by Hugh Ross, which claims that death (such as the laying down of the fossil record) occurred before Adam sinned contradicts Romans and Corinthians, which clearly teaches that death is a consequence of sin. Logic teaches us that consequences *must* follow causes.
Answers in
Genesis
Defending the Bible from the very first verse. Answers in Genesis is a
wonderful organization dedicated to making known the truth of Genesis and the Word of God,
supported by science and archaeology. They produce a beautiful quarterly family magazine
called Creation ex nihilo, which is imperative for keeping abreast of the
evolutionary claims that are heralded in newspapers, then disproved (which no one hears
about), and the fascinating scientific and archaeological finds that support the Biblical
record. This is our favorite link in the whole Favorite Links section of the website.

The mission news and networking website from the excellent Service in Mission (SIM) organization.
Compassion International
Compassion provides services to the poorest children around the world, such as food, medical care, schooling, and what sold us on this organization above others -- training in the Bible. Every week in Sunday school and church services, sponsored Compassion children hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Some established Christian child relief organizations do not teach children the gospel, but respect their native religions.) For $28.00/month, you can make all the difference in the world to a child who would otherwise live in poverty, succumbing to disease, malnutrition, and shortened lives of pain, slave labor, and even child prostitution. The little boy that we sponsor lives in Peru; we exchange letters frequently, and he has good clothes, food, medical care, and is receiving an education that can break the cycle of poverty for his family. He loves Jesus, and his face is full of joy, from the pictures Compassion sends. We love him, and I think the feeling is mutual.

Hebraic Roots of Christianity
This ministry desires to see all believers in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah to understand
the rich Hebraic/Jewish heritage that the God of Israel gave to His people. In doing so,
this ministry seeks to understand and interpret the Bible from a Hebraic perspective and
background while seeking to study, learn, and restore what was originally given to the
first century Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Yeshua/Jesus as Messiah. This is a
very fascinating site.
Seven Feasts of the Lord
I have had so many requests for more information on the Leviticus 23 study of
Jewish feast days and their relationship to Christian theology mentioned in Bible
in the Grammar Stage, that I decided to post the information we use in teaching
the meaning of the feasts to our children. I should say from the outset that we are
not working from the advantage of a Jewish heritage, and we are still learning
about this topic. The information presented is not meant to be dogmatic, and is
subject to change as we continue to learn. This link will not take you to an external site.
Stewarton Bible School of Scotland
I have not yet gone through this whole site: there is enough information to keep you busy for some time to come! However, I have gone over Bible Versions and The Sacred Calendar. While I didnt agree with everything here, what I did read got me thinking and studying the issues brought up in new and fresh ways. I keep coming back to study more of their topics, and thought you also might enjoy this site.
